This is a preliminary report of a case study around a Norwegian aquaculture farm designed to test novel suitable methods that could be applied across different locations within an EU project. The main goal was to validate methods to determine the effect and to monitor the carbon footprint of Atlantic salmon farms. Here we report on the highlights of these methods that will be applied in more detail across different aquaculture farms.
